Memorial Day - Daniel Mark Owen meets Daniel Mark Burbank
We were so lucky this weekend. We were able to accompany Cody's aunt, Aunt Merle, to go see where his family is buried. I was especially excited because the first grave site we visited is the man whom Daniel is named for.
This afternoon I was doing some family history and I stumbled on your blog...- Daniel Mark Burbank is my great grandfather too so your post intrigues me!! I have never seen his grave before as I live in Canada.
I would love to learn as much as possible about this wonderful pioneer. It is just wonderful that the name of Daniel Mark lives on!
