Amazing Baby Boy

I just had to tell a quick story. We went to the WIC clinic yesterday to get Daniel re-certified. They had to draw blood, and that is what this story is about. The lady sanitized his toe while he just sat and studied everything she was doing. When she pricked him, he didn't even flinch!! He just watched intently! After she got the band-aid on his toe, he lifted his foot up and examined the band aid!!! I am still in shock that he was so calm. I HATE shots or any kind of needle pricking me. He screams when he gets shots. I don't know why he didn't cry, but maybe this is a sign that he will be a doctor?

Anyways, he also went to the doctor yesterday. He has Bronchitis again. He's back on the nebulizer and throws up at least once a day. (He didn't throw up today and is more himself, so hopefully he will be all the way better by Friday.)

He took his first steps! Just three or four in a row, but he is getting braver and braver! We practice everyday!

My Baby Boy is 1!!!!

I can't believe it! The year has gone so fast! We had a Mickey Mouse themed party with family. It was so great! Thank you so much to my mom, brother, and Cody for all their help! (The cae would have been a disaster without Robert's art skills!!)

I can't believe how clean of an eater he is. He hates having food on his face!

Daniel's First Hair Cut!!!!!!!

My baby is growing up, and I finally gave in to his need for a haircut... I was really sad to see his curls go, but a little girl in my Primary class asked if he had pigtails. So, it was time. Thank you Connie for cutting it for us!!

Christmas!!!

Christmas was awesome!!! We spent Christmas Eve morning and afternoon in Preston with Cody's family. Then went to my grandparents for dinner. Then stayed a couple nights at my mom's. We had a blast!!! Daniel loved the wrapping paper! He got more presents than the rest of us combined!! Here are some pictures:

Okay, I left the room for a second and came back to this: Daniel had unwrapped a chocolate-peanut butter Santa and was enjoying a little snack... It was the cutest, funniest thing ever! And: he didn't make a mess. He is a very neat eater!!!!
