We blew bubbles out in the cold today = longer lasting bubbles. We even got one to freeze on the railing. It was really fun!

Farm and Games

We spent the night with me on the farm. And now we are reliving Mommy's childhood and playing "Cooties".

Daniel's 4th Birthday 1

Daniel's day started with balloons falling on him!
He got Perry the Platypus slippers.
Had chocolate chip green pancakes with grapes and bananas and Nutella for breakfast.
Made a pirate ship cake.
Went to Chick-fil-A for lunch!
And tried out his new bike from Grandpa Mark.

We had family over for cake and ice cream. And we're so glad that they braved the snow to be with us. I can't believe my baby boy is four!!

Promises!

I just want to say that I promise I will update my blog with so many pictures that it will make you go crazy!....

I just have to wait until I am unpacked from our trip and our room is reorganized and I have enough room to sit at my computer comfortably (I will need to be comfortable because I have a million pictures to post...).

General Conference Weekend and Easter

Sorry for the month of silence!!! It has been busy! But here is a catch up post! We were able to go to Grandma Iva's house for General Conference. It was lots of fun!!

I just love how when he is concentrating, his tongue sticks out!

 Grandma has 16 chicks! At first Daniel was a little wary, but he grew to love them!!

I really liked the chicks! 

Daddy and Daniel had fun flying kites. It was a little chilly, so I stayed inside!!

 We walked up the hill to visit Grandma's neighbor.

 They had fun stuff for Daniel to sit on!

 Then Daniel jumped on the trampoline.

  Grandma let us color Easter eggs! Daniel loved it!

 So did Daddy!

 I think Daniel's favorite thing was having Grandma read to him! He would bring two books in at a time, until the shelf was empty!

 Grandma's house is a lot of fun!

 

 Daniel wanted Mia to jump with him. She didn't enjoy it as much as he did!

 Took a drive... :)

 Fell asleep watching a movie!!

 Followed Daddy around the farm.

 Had an Easter egg hunt! Just Daniel!

 Back home we went to check out City Creek. The Disney store is AWESOME!!

 Here is the actual community hunt. We tried to get a good spot where there were a lot of eggs, but as soon as the siren went off... Daniel took off to the other end of the grass. He was going for distance, not quantity.

 He wasn't up for pictures with Mommy... So sad.

 The local grocery store had kids color bunny ears and search the store for Easter eggs. So much fun! I love this community!

 The Easter bunny was nice to us. Mommy got a new church outfit. Daniel got a lot of fun stuff! And Daddy got some planters for the garden!

 Easter was fun. I am grateful for the real reason of Easter, though. I am grateful for the Atonement in my life. Thankful that Jesus Christ sacrificed himself so that even though I make many mistakes, I can repent and one day return to my loving Father in Heaven.
